So we’ve had an extremely busy summer – multiple weddings and events every week to keep us out of trouble! We’ve attended some truly extravagant weddings, intimate dinner parties, a wedding on a cliff near Dunbar and performed at our first civil partnership.
We’re staying busy until mid November when things start to quiet down somewhat (anyone need a quartet for a winter wedding?!) but each player will be keeping busy doing other things. There are solo and orchestra concerts, operas and shows coming up all of which I will keep you updated about!
We’ve recently attended some wedding shows (Scotland’s Exclusive Wedding Event, The Scottish Wedding Show). Both events were very successful for us and we loved performing for both existing and new clients. Most popular choice for us to play by far: Canon in D by Pachelbel – I won the bet for guessing the number of times we played it over the weekend (think it was 18!!). There is a nice live recording of this on our player if you fancy a listen. We’ll be at these shows again next year (February) so keep an eye on the blog for more details!
