Terms & Conditions

•           A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to confirm all bookings.

•           All bookings will be confirmed in writing between both parties – Korda String Quartet booking forms and Musician’s Union forms need to be completed and signed.

•           We ask that all details are to be confirmed and the remaining balance paid one month before to the function.

•           We require 4 armless chairs to be provided by the venue and enough space to play.

•           Korda String Quartet are happy to perform outside, but refuse the right to do so if the weather or conditions are not suitable.  In order to protect our instruments from direct sunlight or precipitation – suitable cover is required. Please note that performing under trees/bushes is not considered suitable cover.

•           Within any function exceeding one hour, the quartet will be entitled to short breaks in accordance with the rules of the Musicians Union.

•           All fees quoted are valid for one month or until earlier acceptance of the booking is made by the client. After this period, the price may be altered by Korda String Quartet without giving notice to the client.

•           Members of Korda String Quartet may be subject to change without prior notice.

Korda String Quartet are one of the busiest Scottish ensembles and as a result have a pool of players who perform regularly as part of the quartet. These players are top quality professionals.

Laura will provide a comprehensive and personal service but may not be able to attend every function. In this case, each player will be fully briefed in advance of the function.
